Thank you to all who made our April Democratic Women’s Luncheon a sellout.
Our guest speaker was Milann Gannaway, Treasurer/Recruiter for the Marshes of Glynn Service Unit.
She gave a great presentation on Marshes of Glynn Girl Scouts who’s mission is to build girls courage, confidence and character and to make the world a better place.
Today girls earn badges in robotics, engineering, website design, cybersecurity, coding for good, budgeting, finance and car care to name a few. They serve nearly 500 girls in Glynn, McIntosh and Brantley counties.
Here is your opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering in a Marsh Madness cleanup event in the Golden Isles.
Please join us for our March Democratic Women’s Luncheon at Halyard’s – March 9th – 12:30 PM.
Our speaker for March will be Lericia Harris, the director of the Community First Planning Commission. The commission is dedicated to restoring the confidence of the Black community in Glynn County.
