NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that three vacancies exist in the Glynn County Democratic Committee. The vacancies will be filled by election of the remaining Committee members, as proscribed in our bylaws. The committee is a 16-member volunteer body that promotes the activities of the Georgia Democratic Party in Glynn County, including recruiting candidates, supporting nominees, qualifying candidates, raising money, and electing representatives to the state party.
Current vacancies:
• District 1 representative (term ends Nov. 2020, presidential election cycle)
• District 2 representative (term ends Nov. 2022, gubernatorial election cycle)
• District 3 representative (term ends Nov. 2020, presidential election cycle)
The representatives will be elected to the committee to fill out the current four-year term for each position, designated as either presidential or gubernatorial cycle.
The virtual election will be held by the Executive Committee on Feb. 19, 2020.
