2022 Democratic Women’s Luncheon

All Democratic Women are invited to the first monthly Democratic Women’s luncheon to be held on Tuesday, August 9, 12:30 at Halyard’s restaurant. We have two great speakers:
Wade Herring, Georgia 1st Congressional District Candidate
Julie Jordan, Glynn Dems Chair and former candidate and educator

The menu will include: Chicken Piccata $14.00
Salad with Seared Shrimp $14.00
1/2 Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup $11.00
Tea $2.50

2022 Democratic Party Delegate Election

The Glynn Dems will be electing delegates to the 2022 Democratic Party of Georgia State Convention on July 25, 2022 at the Glynn Dems Office at 1919 Glynn Ave #7 in Brunswick, Georgia.
 
We are allotted 4 delegates and 2 alternates . This is in addition to our two State Committee Members.

Two caucuses will be held at this time. The first caucus will consist of elected committee members voting for 2 of the allotted delegates and 1 of the alternates.  This will take place during our Glynn Dems Committee Meeting which begins at 5:30 PM.  This is open to the public.

The second caucus will consist of the general public electing the remaining 2 delegates and 1 alternate. You do not have to be an elected committee member to run for a delegate spot.  You simply need to be a Democrat and registered voter and physically reside in Glynn County.  Everyone who attends the caucus must sign the Georgia State Convention Delegate & Delegate Elector Affidavit to participate.

The State Convention will be held on Saturday, August 27th, in Columbus, GA.  This is the Democratic Party’s time to highlight our amazing slate of candidates, adopt our party’s platform and adopt resolutions that represent who we are.  All statewide candidates will be in attendance.  Make your plans now to run for a delegate spot.
