April 2024 Glynn Dems Community Meeting

This month’s guest speaker at the Glynn Dems Community meeting is      Kendra Davenport Cotton.

She is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience building and cultivating relationships to advance a favorable public image and positive strategic agenda for the individuals and organizations that she serves.  
Ms. Cotton is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the New Georgia Project Action Fund.

NGP Action Fund (501c4) increases the civic participation of the New Georgia Majority—Black, Latinx, AAPI, and young Georgians—and other historically marginalized communities by building grassroots political power in support of progressive leaders, policies, and issues.

Kendra was the founding executive director of Rep GA Institute, Inc., Georgia’s statewide c3, nonpartisan leadership training HUB, as well as its c4 arm, Represent Georgia Action Network.
Before this role, she was the campaign manager for the successful Georgia Association of Educators’ Vote “NO” on Amendment 1 statewide ballot initiative during the November 2016 election cycle.
A staunch public-school and voting rights advocate, Kendra is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and resides in Powder Springs, GA with her husband Michael and their three children, Jarah, Kael, and Rhys.
The Community Meeting will be held on April 22, 2024 at  6:30PM at the Glynn Dems Office, 1919 Glynn Ave #7, Brunswick GA.

First Luncheon of the 2024 Election season.

Patti Hewitt, Democratic candidate Georgia’s 1st Congressional District, and Rebekah Moore, Democratic candidate for Georgia House of Representatives – District 167.

March Democratic Women’s Luncheon

Please join us as we welcome Lea King-Badnya, Executive Director of Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, which received a 2023 Governor’s Circle Award for its achievements in community beautification and environmental sustainability. With over 30 years of experience in public/community/media relations, volunteer management and event planning/organization in the Golden Isles, she actively promotes the organization, its programs and volunteers to galvanize community support and participation in helping keep the Golden Isles clean, green and beautiful.
